Munich is getting its second 60 seconds to napoli restaurant – Schwabing becomes the new hotspot for Neapolitan pizza

The iconic location at Hohenzollernstraße 11 is transforming into a 60 seconds to napoli featuring modern design, an Izzo Duo oven, and a unique vaulted cellar for exclusive events.
Munich, May 28, 2026 – Munich is growing: Following the success of its first Munich location, 60 seconds to napoli is opening a second location in the Bavarian capital in July 2026, this time right in the heart of Schwabing. Hohenzollernstraße 11, previously operated as Cotidiano, will become the new home of Neapolitan pizza culture in Munich.
Schwabing is not just any neighborhood. Hohenzollernstraße is one of the city's most vibrant dining and lifestyle destinations, frequented by an urban, sophisticated crowd that knows what good pizza means. The decision to convert the previous Cotidiano location into a 60 seconds to napoli is the result of a clear strategic assessment: the location, the surroundings, and the audience of Hohenzollernstraße offer ideal conditions for the concept, while Cotidiano remains firmly present in Munich with four strong locations. With around 80 seats on the ground floor, a large outdoor area for approx. 100 guests, and a unique vaulted cellar for up to 40 people that can be rented exclusively for private and corporate events at 60 seconds to napoli, among other things, the new location offers an experiential format that is second to none in Munich.
Also in terms of design, the Schwabing location marks another milestone for the brand. The interior incorporates elements of a design evolution that 60 seconds to napoli is currently working on—a direction that consistently advances the brand's identity and gives it an even clearer, more contemporary expression. Characteristically, the heart of the restaurant is the Izzo Duo oven. There, the original Neapolitan pizza is baked at 485 degrees in exactly 60 seconds to its typical, light and crispy perfection. The dough rests for 72 hours for this. Only first-class ingredients from Italy are used, such as San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di Latte mozzarella, and many others.
60 seconds to Napoli is officially among the top 50 Neapolitan pizza concepts worldwide and is the highest-ranked concept of its kind in Germany. This top-tier international recognition is not just on paper for the brand, but can be felt every day at every location. Coinciding with the opening in July, the brand is also launching its new specials, which expand the culinary offer with seasonal reinterpretations and underscore its commitment to innovation.
„Munich has shown us that the city is excited about our Neapolitan pizza concept. Schwabing is the perfect neighborhood for our second location. With the vaulted cellar, the new design, and the location, this site has everything it takes to provide our guests with a successful and extraordinary “60 seconds to napoli' experience," says Adrian Kuras, founder and managing director of 60 seconds to napoli.
