60 seconds to napoli joins the Better Chicken Commitment

At 60 seconds to napoli, quality does not begin in the oven. It begins with the ingredients, the people we work with, and the question of where our products come from.

Therefore, 60 seconds to napoli is joining the broiler chicken initiative. The initiative advocates for higher animal welfare standards in broiler chicken farming and defines clear requirements for housing, breeding lines, enrichment materials, space, lighting, stunning, and independent inspections.

For us, this step is a logical progression of our commitment to quality. Our guests should be able to rely on the fact that we look closely not just at the dough, tomatoes, and fior di latte, but also at ingredients like chicken.

In Germany, we already meet the requirements of the Better Chicken Commitment today. Since 2019, we have been using 100 percent Kikok chicken there, which meets the initiative's standards.

Together with our partners, we continue to work on securing responsible standards in our supply chain for the long term and making them transparent.

For our guests, joining means above all more clarity. 60 seconds to napoli stands for Neapolitan pizza, high-quality ingredients, and a modern restaurant experience. For us, this also includes taking responsibility when selecting our suppliers and products.

„For us, quality means looking closely. By joining the Better Chicken Commitment, we are setting a clear signal for higher standards and greater responsibility in our supply chain. It is particularly important to us that we already meet these requirements in Germany today with Kikok chicken,“ says Adrian Kuras, founder and managing director of 60 seconds to napoli.
